I did taste the Lavender Fields of Kentucky drink, it was good. Elevated takes on everything from burgers, ribs and wings to an indulgent pairing of Champagne and Truffle Fries. I don’t like black licorice or anything that tastes like it but, despite that, the drink wasn’t bad. A lofty, industrial space serving gourmet comfort food. I’m not an experienced drinker so I didn’t recognize all the liquor/liqueurs in the drink but, there was a taste reminiscent of black licorice taking a backseat in the drink. I had an alcoholic popsicle? I can’t remember the exact name but it was a popsicle with some alcohol in it. Pretty much everyone at the table liked their drink. You need to match the volume (cfm - l/min) of the compressor to the flow of the dryer. In any case, it still tasted good just not super truffle-y. ABAC, Model DRY 85, 50 CFM, Refrigerated Dryer, 4102005873. I feel like maybe the garlic and Parmesan might have been overpowering the truffle oil, or (the more likely case) there wasn’t much truffle incorporated in the fries. More than two years have passed since I last reviewed Dry 85, the cozy spot on Main Street in Annapolis that says it is all about 'bourbon, beer and provisions.' I can report that not much has. It was pretty good, the sauce was sweet but not overly and the ribs were literally fall of the bone. For my entrèe, I had the Slow Roasted Pork Ribs with House-made Blueberry Sauce. Dry 85 has good food, a great atmosphere, and service with a personal touch. 2 SC mothers accused of exposing children to drugs. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, I don’t think they tasted that great but I could see some people liking them. 21 minutes ago &0183 &32 Vehicle fire causes slow down on I-85 in Spartanburg County. One thing I appreciated was how she physically went around the table to take each member of group’s orders and although the restaurant was busy and she was servicing other tables, she came back to check on us consistently. She was also really accommodating of special requests that we made. Unfortunately the food isn’t great which is disappointing.
She went over the specials and made pretty good suggestions. As a Prohibition type restaurant, Dry 85 definitely hits the mark on drinks as they are fantastic, as is the service. Chrissy(I hope I’m spelling her name correctly ) seated us and was super cordial from the start of our visit.
